Grosse Pointe South Varsity seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple University of Detroit Jesuit. The game was tied at three with Grosse Pointe South Varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when Brian McKennasingled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
In the top of the seventh inning, University of Detroit Jesuit tied things up at three. Pullis singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Bruno led things off on the pitcher's mound for University of Detroit Jesuit. He surrendered three runs on five hits over five innings, striking out one and walking one. Blum threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.
Grosse Pointe South Varsity tallied nine hits. Will Leonard and McKenna each collected multiple hits for Grosse Pointe South Varsity. Leonard led Grosse Pointe South Varsity with three hits in three at bats. Grosse Pointe South Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Eden Frevik made the most plays with seven.

Brundage was the winning pitcher for Grosse Pointe South Varsity. He went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one. McKenna threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
