Bats were blistered as Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils Varsity defeated Romeo 12-6 on Monday.

Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils Varsity secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the third inning. Wells Graham, Ryker Mazey, River Kraus, Nate Stiyer, Graham, and Mazey each drove in runs during the inning. In the third Graham doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Mazey homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Kraus singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, Stiyer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Graham drew a walk, scoring one run, Mazey was hit by a pitch, driving in a run, and Kaiser's sac fly scored one run for Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils Varsity.

Graham took the win for Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils Varsity. The hurler went four innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out five. Chase Mazey threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Hayward took the loss for Romeo. The hurler lasted two innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs while striking out one.
